It should be. I shouldn't have to delete an old character to be able to try all classes.

hmm, to put things in perspective, there are no monthly fees so the realistic way to get more characters is get a second subscription. You can't have it all ways. The cost of second licence is less than 3 months online subs in most other games I play so i think 4 char per account is pretty generous.

I like the idea someone suggested on another topic, where you buy 'character top-ups' so that you can add more characters to your existing account, but it costs you ??10 or so to do so.

At the very least, I think the retail expansion packs that they are proposing should give you a couple of extra character slots as well; particularly if they introduce any new professions.

*Sigh* Ill have to make do then
the other catch of course is that if u have other characters for ur accounts how much do they charge u for the expansions?
Also currently to open all the skills for all the classes u need 3 characters with all 6 classes included, so no duplicates. (If u didn't want to delete any & want a pvp character) Personally I would quite happily pay another key price to have another 4 characters (& pay double price for any expansions), but Id want to be able to access all 8 characters in 1 account. *Sigh* Ohhh well Ill have to make do then. My main problem is that im often helping others tho the game so I create new characters to do this and take them tho the game at the same pace. |

with 1 char u can unlock skills for each class, after ascending u can do a quest that allows you to switch your secondary profession by talking to a guy anytime after you complete the quest
so after you complete all the quests you can change your seconday profession by just talking to a guy, and then its possible to unlock the skills for all professions with just 1 character on your account |

It would be very nice if you could buy more character slots... I don't want to have another account, I just want more slots for my current account - let's say 2 more slots for 20 ??? would be no problem for me
